Pretty Ffff'in sweet, that it is gonna be around Optimus and Megatron. If it was any other generation I would of been pissed, seriously..pissed ;)

I'll be watching this movie very closely.....wonder what studio's are gonna get the contracts?


Also I dunno why they said R.C is a well known character? Wasn't she the first Female autobot, and was only in the original movie? I can't remember really....I think only Big geeks would know who that is compared to Optimus and the rest.

I am glad they are talking about the original movie though, and all the rest, so far so good.

Spielberg AND Micheal Bay making a transformers movies..oh man this will be good. The best cartoon I watched when I was a kid. I even drew the stuff. I hope they get Craig Mullins to do the conceptual dev! Looking at his "need for speed" artwork man it could look really good.

I'm gonna geek it. I loved the part in the article that says the original Voice actors could return. if we get a good Script and the original Voice of Megatron and ESPECIALLY Optimus Prime this movie could seriously kick ass.

I thought the voices were one of the most distinctive parts of the Transformers Series. hehehe yes I just watched parts of it again recently on DVD and that was a great show for its time. :)

For you transformers Geeks out there who want something kinda new and interesting I recommend BEAST WARS its got some of the best writing I have seen in an American Mainstream animation in ahwhile. The series is surprisingly complex and has a huge amount of surprises story wise.

I hated the Aerialbots, Stunticons, Combaticon, Protectobots, Dinobots, Insecticons, Biatchslapticons, etc.

Transformers sould only have Autobots and Decepticons! And Contructicons.

Just because acree's in it doesn't mean it's coing to suck, not if they do it right anyhow, the original acree was probable to much of a sissie (no offence to anyone who thought otherwise) so they could never get very far with her if they make it a bit different this time it wont be all that bad. Oh and acree was always called R.C in the film don't know why though:shrug:

Anyhow I heard soundwave was going to be a hellicopter.:curious:

I agree. I had seen some episodes on tv but missed most of them. They released all 3 seasons on dvd and i recently rented then via netflix. The last episode was kinda wimpy but for the most part it was action packed. I've also seen all of second season of Beast machines which was good as well. Cant wait till they release those on dvd.

Transformers are "robots in disguise." WHAT is the point of disguising yourself as a big robotic dinosaur?

but how long can the masquerade last for realistically?

once the autobots and decepticons get into a measly fist fight it would realistically be know around the world.

at that point theres not as much need to be disguised but to have some brute force. why not create robots that incorporate some of the traits and physical features of some of earths most powerful beasts.

It doesn't even necesssarily mean they would have to look like dino saurs just Grimlock, the Trex large fast legs for tearing and running, large jaws and teeth for ripping and be very agile. Sludge, the brontosaurus more like a tank. Just incorporate the physical advantages of Dinosaurs instead of trying to be disguised as one.

Berice; Don't you remember the terrible, moral laden sidetracking plots involving the soft little pink people and shiz? And then the postively ugly standoff/mating ritual twixt Arcee, Hotrod and Springer just waiting to happen. Omega Supreme even worked this angle, and he's the size of Nebraska. Transformers = bad at interpersonal relationships.

This movie will be a weepie. It might even be an ok weepie.

to Beast wars they broached this touchy subject of Hot oily transformer lovin. Air Razor and Tigertron had some touching moments and became one in many many ways. :)

Then there was the interesting yet odd relationship between Black Arachnia a Predacon (Decepticon) and Silverbolt (a Maximal/autobot) That actually became a very big plot point towards the 2nd and third seasons. fun subjects like jealousy, and competition for affection was also there as well. That was a great season.

Beast Wars rocked!. When I can, I am getting the DVD's.

In a movie, I can't thiunk of anything more awesome than Devastator! I kinda doubt that we'll see it... but that would be the best.

Oh yeah, robot lovin' and the little pink flesh creatures...Ehh, what can I say...Im an ass. Any way, I decided to check out the Original Season DVD's and man....The fact that I was overly-impressed as a kid watching the animation of the original show is mind boggling now...Still, it brings back memories the good ol' days...even though i was like 4 or 5 or whatever. But I still have a special place in my spark (lame) for the TF's.
