At Side Effects Software Inc., we are very excited about the upcoming VTM's and online course being produced by 3D Buzz. With the Houdini Apprentice program, 3D artists have access to the powerful procedural techniques found in Houdini and with our unobtrusive workmarks you can learn while producing demo reel quality material. With the 3D Buzz learning tools, you will have even greater access to what Houdini can do. If you want more info on the Apprentice program go to:

http://www.sidefx.com/products/apprentice/index.html

If you are interested in the latest copy of Houdini Apprentice please don't go to the www.sidefx.com/dls location. The way our download server works is undergoing changes and therefore the following URL is a better place for accessing the Apprentice edition:

http://www.vislab.usyd.edu.au/sidefx

Here you can not only get the latest software but access to existing learning material to tide you over so you can start studying for your new course.

Thanks go to the Sydney Vislab and Ben Simons for making the latest cut of Apprentice (5.5.151) available to everyone. :applause:

Houdini is really pushing their product! :)
I hope this works for you Sidefx.
I did some beta testing on Houdini5.5 and I like it, but I just need to be working at a company that uses it for Character Modeling.... :)
