View Full Version : Particle Sampling Fluids and Mental Ray

Hello yall.

I have read the thread on using clouds and fluids. Very cool stuff. I tried it and it works... Except, with mental ray. For some reason it seems to ignore all together the sampler info node when randomizing the fluids' texture origin. Has anyone experienced a similar problem?

I am including 2 images. The one on the left rendered using Maya software, the other using mental ray.

Mental ray is the renderer of choice where I work, and I would like to use it if at all possible.

Yeah I had the same problem, it works fine with maya software but no luck with mental ray.
