Ok, so when I saw the Tauren in WoW, I definately wanted to make a model that kinda resembeled it.

This guy has 2020 Triangles, and I'm making two maps for the head and the body. Once rigged, I'm going to release this as a character for Morrowind. I'm a bit stuck on the textures however. I can't make the fur look like I want it to. I really want it to look like the fur in World of Warcraft, and I know there's is 100% hand painted. I just can't get the brush to work correctly to pull off the same effect. Any Ideas on this?

Heres the images:

And Here's where the problems start comming in:

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

He is talking about the images, but I can see them just fine. I like the concept more then the actual model , the actual length of the nose is much better with the concept.

I like the concept and the model start well. So..good luck !! I will follow your thread.

looks nice, but the shape of his joints will make it very hard for him to walk. Het has no counterbalance on the back. He'll probably keel over each time he gets up.

Anyway, good start on the texture!

In your concept your balance is ALL off, its nice, but its incorrect in some areas.

I would like to see a side view of your model... usally when you have a stance like that, its smarter to stick the pelvis out a bit, and make the torso humped as well, here is an example:

And here is a gif (a walk cycle) this could help if you will be rigging:

But yeah, show us a side view of your model, then it would be a lot easier to crit :)
Looks good though :)

I think I see what you mean. You mean that he looks like he's going to fall flat on his face. So when I rig it (after I figure out how to rig), I could just make it so his natural stance is a little more balanced. Would that work.

Thanks for the help. Here's a side view!:

I think I see it too. BTW, after I'm done fixing this, does anybody have a good link so I can learn to rig this? Never rigged before. thanks!!!
