View Full Version : Making a metal Surface
boboa4eva 07-11-2005, 07:57 PM I’ve been trying to make a Metal surface in Photoshop.
I tryed to put in some rust spots, but it didn't look anything
close to real. Here is a picture of what i was trying to make.

Well I'd have to agree it doesn't look much like metal.
I don't have any tips for improving the texture but maybe if you combined it with a specular and bump map you would get more of the effect your looking for.
