Does anyone have any idea as to what the difference in rendering time would be between a 2.3 vs 2.7GHz PM G5 using C4D R9.1?
I like using Pyrocluster and Thinking Particles but my current machine a G4 550 makes this almost immpossible. Although I need the G5 for other applications such as AE, and FCP I mainly work in C4D so I want to make sure I get all the rendering speed for C4D I can but I don't want to blow the extra $500. if the increased speed doesn't make a lot of difference in rendering speed in C4D.
