I'm not sure this is an appropriate thing to post here or not - presumably I'll be deleted if it's not :)

I'm looking for someone to work with me on concept designs and storyboards for a low-budget horror film I'm getting ready to pitch to the studios. It's a very fun project that should get seen around town (that'd be Hollywood) by a good number of people thanks to my extensive contacts in the industry. This is, for now, a non-paying job but hopefully it will lead to something more.

Just to give a bit of credibility to the whole thing, you can check out my IMDB listing (which is somewhat incomplete) here: IMDB for Ron Brinkmann (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0109659/).

The book I wrote a while back can be seen here: The Art and Science of Digital Compositing (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?link_code=ur2&camp=1789&tag=nothingreal&creative=9325&path=ASIN/0121339602).

And the award-winning short film that I did (which is helping to get me all these nice meetings with various producers) has a page up here: www.hopethemovie.com (http://www.hopethemovie.com).

(some nice stills from the short are, specifically, here (http://www.hopethemovie.com/Stills.html).)

Please send email to "ron AT hopethemovie DOT com" (presumably you can figure that out :-) with any sort of information you might be able to provide about your work and I'll send back a better description of what this film's all about.

Thanks for the interest!

Dear Seeker of Inspiration,

As They Say, Seek and ye shall find. I have been a creative writer since I was six and as any independent filmmaker knows instead of just being able to write/direct we have to involve ourselves into every aspect of our creations... Thus began my love affair with CG, my recent membership here and of course this post. I have a fully completed script that is suspense/horror. I wrote it to be made on a very limited budget but it has all the feel of a major production. I have been fortunate enough to have several industry pro's read the script and have received very positive feedback. IndieSlate Magazine (Greatest resource for indie filmmakers) loved the concept and were trying to help me raise hype for it, but I am hopelessly trapped in Kansas with no contacts or connections. I am not sure if this is what your looking for but if you have contacts, I have a concept and much more. I believe we could be very fast friends.
