I am a noob. I have 4 C4D user guides. I have looked in index in all of them. I have searched this forum. I remember that things can be linked. I want to link cameras to the editor's view. Can this be done? Thank you very much, Mud

any camera (not camera with target) will be attached to the view you are looking through when you make it. once you make it you should switch to looking through the camera using the viewports menu go to Cameras->Scene Cameras->"Your Camera Name" and there you go, from then on nay moves you make in that viewport will move that camera too. hope that answers you question for you.

If you make a Camera with a Target C4D actually isn't using any direct Object as such, so much as a Library object, and library objects in C4D are alawys placed wherever they were originally created. So in order to do this properly just create a new Camera, then add a null manually, and add a target expression to your camera, and target it on the null... that way at least the camera is in position... all you need to do then is move the target into place.
