I am not exactly sure what you are asking here, but if you are asking if Nexus will be a part of Modo at some time, then you are missing something (or I am ;) ). Nexus, as I understand it, is NOT an application as such. Nexus is the development environment that Luxology uses to create Modo and other such 3D applications so that they can produce both MAC and PC versions virtually simultaniously.

No no , pls don't worry about your English , it's only my fault!
So Nexus is not an external application like I immagined (a rendering engine) but merely a Modo's feature.
Right?
And do you know , when Modo+Nexus will be relesed?
Peebler took about a 1.8Million polyghons object , rendered in 55 seconds by Nexus

Nexus wont be released.
Modo was built "in" nexus.
If you look in your modo directory, you will see nexus1.dll file etc.
Nexus is like a 3d operating system if you will, where modo and other tech can be created.
At least thats my take on what Brad said. :)

So is it possible right now to render something inside Modo directly?
For example the sportcar at Luxology home page , seem to be rendered inside Modo , using Nexus G.I.

Again...Nexus is the development platform, products like modo are created in it...the render tech (whatever it will be called) was running inside Nexus. You wont get Nexus, you will get the render tech plugin/program when Lux are ready to launch it.
Edit:
"Nexus is our internal development platform. There has been a lot of confusion about what Nexus really is. It is NOT a product. Nexus is a system we have created that allows us to have our entire development team working on a single code base." - Brad Peebler
Cheers.

As Phil was pointing out, Nexus has nothing to do with rendering, modeling, etc. It is the DEVELOPMENT platform used to CREATE Modo and it is/will be used to create the rendering and animation modules as well. It is sort of like the programming language (or, better yet, the programming environment) used to create Modo. For Luxology to release Nexus would like Luxology giving away the very tools they use to create Modo, the rendering module, etc.

Ok this is very clear! (thanks)
But this video however continue to create confusion indeed (unless at my mind!).

Hi James :)
Yes, I was confused at the start...they key things to remember are as follows:-
* Nexus is not a product
* Nexus is used so Luxology can create programs such as modo
* Nexus can be used to run software tech such as the renderer which are then compiled to become applications.
* Brad was showing the renderer running in Nexus as at that point in time, it was only a tech demo, not an actual product, therefore they had to use the developemt software to actually show you it.

So do you know when this fantastic rendering engine (I mean the 1.8Milions/53secs) will be relesed and under wich form?
(Modo plugin , new apps or lightwave layout)
