View Full Version : Menus with DVD Architect
Hi, I'm trying to make a menu with DVD Architect so that when a menu item is selected (highlighted) a graphic will appear next to that item (like an icon, or an arrow). I can't seem to find any way to do this, but it should be possible right? I've read through the manual, but can't seem to find a way to do it. It only refers to being able to highlight graphics, but I want the graphic to appear/disappear based on whether the corresponding menu item is selected or not...

Read up on sub-picture overlay. This is the thing that makes the highlight on a button. So instead of using the same graphic of your button in the sub-picture overlay layer make your icon so that it appears where you want it. Sub-picture is also weird because you have to create it in a solid color either black, red, blue, or white and then change your colors and transparency levels inside of your auhoring software.
