View Full Version : help with inverted normals after export from maya

Hello Everyone,

I am working on a project with a friend of mine who is using maya. We are swapping models back and fourth between maya and xsi and when the .obj file comes into xsi some of the normals are inverted and others are not.

Is there a quick way to align all the normals the correct direction? I do not want to have to select all of the faces hand by hand, there are so many of them!

clusters>user normal cluster

delete it

I have already deleted the user normal cluster and the texture_coordinates_auto

Any more thoughts??
