Hello all,

Anyone know how one would go about creating the "ink splatter" effect in lightwave.

I thought about just filming it, but wanted to see if anyone has done this before??

Dan Ablan has a great tutorial on how to "drip" using a procedural, but I am looking for more of a "splat" type thing.

I'm not sure how in depth u want the effect to be. But i'm believe if it's really quick u could animate it in Photoshop over a period of three or four frames.

There are some great splatter brushes free for download if you look.

What exactly type of "splat". Is it a 1 time splat, continous?

You could give Particle/Collisions with Stick + HV a shot.
