are you guys nuts! Do i have to say its a bunch of teapots that have been bent and twisted with a particle effect and some shiny glass textures-
The idea is nice like them worshipping him and you trying to give them personality like something out of a disney cartoon- but Im sorry unless u modeled each teapot individually and gave them each unique names u only get 1/2 a star from me for that thing its sitting on in the middle!!!

Lovely idea and quite quality render. Laconic as it is now, it would, however, be near the perfect pic if the dynamism was higher. Currently I don't really understand what's that teapot really dreaming about. Now it's rather a design pic, while with an evolved drammaturgy of the story and a deeper look at the teapot's wishes or fears it could become a pic of art. Good work anyway, I like the concept quite much.

Well i think it is nice, good job mate.
I got nothing to complain about, it's simple, clean and... well, maybe it's a little hard to get the message without your written explanation. Good concept otherwise!

Plz stay polite and respectuous of others works. If you don't like the pixelpro's modeling, look at the lightning and the texturing. Light is superb in this scene. To be honest with you, I am not very impress by your works. How respect you if you not respect the works of each others?
PixelPro, I like it, like i said, superb lights and composition. My only crit is the background who is a little boring.

Okay, I get your point.
However, what we are doing here is to make a good stuff with good composition, good lighting, good rendering etc. The model doesn't have to be made by the artist all the time.
Our CG life is not always all about modeling new stuff. We are artists. We must be able to creat some extordinary images with something ordinary. If you keep looking at the models and only "CG" stuff, you will be missing a lot of important stuff. Look at the composition. Think about what the artist is trying to say. Look how the artist used colours, postive and negative space for the design.
What you are saying is same as complaining about the nude model in lifedrawing classes. You only look at the tits or dick... or ass.. whatever you enjoy to look at... You must be see the lines, masses, blah blah blah.. not the model him/herself.
so my point is.. stop looking at the subject of the images. start looking at other fundementals of design... use of colours... the message from the image... stuff like that...
I hope you understant what I'm trying to tell you.

:) Great piece of render...I really like the mood and the colour scheme, you did a really good job!
Is the DOF done in post or rendered along with the pic?
Byez!

love the image and the simplicity of it.
I don't care if you didn't hand carft every teapot (maybe you did). To me there is no glory in doing unnecessary work in the quest for an evocative image. It looks wonderful, and that's what counts.
not sure I get the point of the image as you described it. It didn't connect with me that way at all, but it's a great looking image.

ok so this is m e saying I was a lil harsh- i do likethe lighting and the compostion and camera effects- but using teapots is a copout- i think we have to be consistant in our coments on this thing so I sorry im sticking with my comment
