Hi
I need to create high detailed feather model in 3dsmax including shading and materials. It should be very fluffy, silky look. Supposed to be very good detailed even if we see that very closely.
Can any body suggest me how can i start that or any tutorial related available, will be a great help.

look into the hair and fur plugins such as the hair and fur for 7.5, ornatrix, and hairrx. I don't think there are many / any tutorials on the subject, but I would probably try and make it with a hair plugin of some sort
