This is a sketch for a painting I've been wanting to do ever since I had the honor of meeting WW II ace Robin Olds back in the states a couple of years ago. It was infact at the Mustang Meeting (Some 60 P-51's present... I don't remember the exact number). Anyhow I knew he also flew the P-38 during the war, my all time favorite aircraft. So I walked up with a P-38 Lightning cap i bought earlier the same day and told him it was my favorite plane. He took my cap, had a look at it and wrote upon it: "Robin Olds. '43 - '44" to indicate that he flew the P-38 from 1943 to 1944. He also signed a couple of books along with Bud Anderson and Yeager - Boy I was happy!

I would really appreciate some crits on this sketch before I move on :)
