You can disable the video card's filter (Antialiasing and Anisotropic filtering).
Maybe that's causing the odd error.

Hi,
I also had a similar error some time ago when I enabled fully antialiasing for all applications. Just change it to "Let the application decide" or something like that and it should work again.
Why does this happen at all? I think it's because blender is rendering the whole GUI via OpenGL, so the buttons and all other elements get AntiAliased too, of course :-)

thx! I thought it was that but i thought i had already turned it off. :D I used blender fine 2 months ago. I guess my brother was fooling with it for a game.
