Is there any difference in performance between a Quadro FX card or GeForce card and is there a difference between a 128MB video card and a 256MB card? Thanks in advance.

More video RAM is a good thing, but it seems that modo doesn't really take advantage of the professional cards - but it's great on a GeForce, so not a big problem :)

There was a thread here on cgtalk that seemed to show quadro's getting better fps than geforce cards when modo was first launched.

But I dont think the jump was massive.
