I was wondering if a system could be put in place to notify previous challenge participants via email when the next challenge was starting.
This would sort of be like a mailing list that recreates the post that is put up at the start of each challenge (ie. with rules, topic, dealine etc), just so people out there who have done the challenge before get a friendly reminder.

What do people think?:shrug:

Exactly...I'm just excited to try the next challenge (my first). I'm chopping on the perverbial "bit". Come ON! It's October 23rd already...when do we start?

I wonder when te next challange is going to start. I think it was kinda frosen for quite a while now.

I believe lildragon said in about a week after the last one. So on the weekend, I guess. I think they want to get the cgchallenge site up first.

This is correct, I'm currently working hard on the interface now, almost done :)

The notification thingy would be nice, maybe make a separate button to the options so you can turn it off, if someone doesn't want to participate in any of the challenges? (Well, one email in a month wouldn't hurt though)

Oh and I think I'm going to participate for the first time aswell, got my LW just a week ago and this should help me get familiar with it.

seriously...developing a site of this magnitude is a LOT of work and i think the crew around lildragon is doing everything they can, so give em some time

Hey i am eager to start the next challenge to as it's going to be my first one.
Do we always to start from scratch ?
And does it take a whole month to complete?
How do you guys manage to accomplish a challenge?
Do you work on it after your day at work?
Or do you work on it all month long?

ahhhh....sorry for the question ... i am really excited about the next one...MY FIRST ONE AT LAST :)

I haven't done any challenges yet (This will be my first one too, yippee! :bounce: ), but I think I can answer some of those questions:

1. Yes, always start from scratch.
2. Well the month is the deadline, if you can finish it in two days, then so be it :)
3. No idea man... no idea...
4. After the work yeah, I'd guess. When would they work then, if not then? ;)
