So, how do you model grass for games?

have a look into the thread of my "trail in the woods" picture. (in my sig)
scroll somewhat downwards, then you'll find a pic of the grass meshes i build.
take a mesh of this type and put a grass tile texture on it.
the texture should contain some grass blades and the corresponding alpha channel..use .tga file format 32 bit for this type of image, then it will contain the alpha channel within.
