Really pretty girl, and the eyes and mouth look pretty much photoreal!
I find the plant on the middle left distracting though - it would look better if it didnt seem to be transparent.

I agree that the shoulder looks flat. Maybe you didnt want to detail that area too much, to let the viewer focus more on the face?!

It's a really good work.
I actually likes it very much because it suits the ideal of a beautiful girl from an asian eye. Anyway, I guess it'd be much more perfect if u can remove some of the black heads and pores which is too obvious. the nose area is very nice and well done. Most digital imaging people who touch ups real photo of models for magazine always took those blemish and pores out of the real photo. But since the subject that u are trying to do here could be realistic skin, i guess this is still acceptable. atleast it doesn't hurt my eye much.
i can see from the edge near the chin where it's obviously lack of division (oh, could be because i'm viewing at really high resolutions). The Hair might needs a little depth of field and post process to be soften a little.

It's a nice approach that you did.

I see the mouth's color is kinda blurred at the end ( left + right )
It's more likely to be clear, not fade in.

The other thing I found is in the high resolution. Yuo didn't think of anything and rendered it. The model is not "high" enough to be rendered in the high resolution. You can see it under the mouth.

Otherwise, it's great.

hey, everybody is impressed with that work..n i'm no god to say its not the best i've seen till date..its amazing..someone has rightly quoted abt u sing more glossiness on the hair but i think the hair aint that wrong considering the fact that girls in that region do have hair like that..
but its impressive stuff..can we get a few tips on texturing from u..what software did u use for texturing??
ur model looked verymuch low poly to me..is actually that low poly for u've given lots of details..or is it ur ability to make a model look real which got me guessing..

I think she is beautiful. Such an ethereal quality, and almost like her eyes are asking you to follow her somewhere. My only comment is that her hair looks like it was placed on top of her head a bit like a cut out...maybe some subtle shadow from the hair strands on her forehead? Otherwise, wow - inspirational.

I adore asian women, and she's gorgeous. I'm puzzled by one thing though. What use was HDRI shop put to in this image?

Wow! Amazing work... Really nice skin and shader! This is one of the nicest, cutest, prettiest female face renders I've seen! :)

Anyways, I was wondering if you wanted to show how you've set it up with the textures diffuse, spec, reflection, and the shader?? Or maybe you don't want to post that here (I could understand if you wanted to keep some tricks to yourself ;))? Did you use a map to get different glossiness/blurriness strength on the lips from the rest of the face. I really like the reflections on the lips! :)

brilliant work on the skin textures. The hair gives away that it's 3D, but overall a brilliant piece.

That reminds me. The main thing that gives it away from being real are the hair and the eye lashes. The hair is a bit of work. But I think this is what has to be done. Thinner strands on the head and thicker/more lashes on the eyes. After that let's see who can tell if it's real or not, hehe. GL!:thumbsup:

great work, almost 100% real.

a few things though and I guess it depends on what level you wanted as an artist to take it to. I didn't read through all 15 pages of replies, so not sure if anyone else pointed these out.

if you were going for 100% photoreal then these would be things I would look at

1. the hair needs more depth and thickness, might just be some simple settings and rendering options.
2. the hair over the ear for some reason breaks up smooth edge.
3. the hair above the eye seems to be very well defined around toward the inside but gets random toward the outside. I think a women like her woud pluck her eyebrows to get them shaped and not furry.
4. the teeth seem to perfect in their shape, that each side from the middle seems to be a mirrored exact copy, there should be a bit of difference in them enough so that your eye isn't drawn to it.
5. the chin looses it smoothness in the high res image, needs a few more polys.
6. there seems to be to much SSS if that was used, or to much self illumination on the skin. the skin the middle of the face seems fine, but the skin under the hair near her neck and scalp almost glows from under the hair. there would be little if any light getting through all the hair.
7. on the same thing the skin on the shoulder seems to glow and depth is lost.

other than that, fantastic work, but if you want to take it to the next level, that photoreal level, those would be my suggestions to look into

You really nailed the realism on this... My background is more on the side of liveaction film-making, the main thing that makes animation believable is the life in the eyes. It has always been the big kill when everything is so good in an animated character, but there's just nothing in the eyes... Somehow, you went beyond that here and it shows. Great job!
