I just came here from Digg. I can see this thread is very popular, it is growing too fast for me to read it all!

She is beautiful. I couldn't believe how real she looked at first. Truly, the work of a master.

She is now my wallpaper. Windows doesn't have an option to stretch the image and keep the aspect ratio, but the Center view works great!
Again.. she's so beautiful. I could swear she was real!:love::love::love:

Hey there
well, this if my first post on these boards. I've been surfing them for a long time, but have never really been compeled to join in.
But I finally decided to sign up so i could say just how much i love this piece! It is amazing. The hair is a bit thick, but that doesn't really bother me. Not only is this image technically brilliant but I love the emotion that is expressed through the eyes, you can feel some of the pain that she must be going through.
The one point i think you could have improved on would be to make the theme more obvious. You state you your site that this image is representing her braking free from her caccon. Being reborn. But without having read that text, it is hard to trully understand what this image is about.

That said i absolutly love it, and would go so far as to say that it is my favorite 3d image! :)

Really pretty girl, and the eyes and mouth look pretty much photoreal!
I find the plant on the middle left distracting though - it would look better if it didnt seem to be transparent.
I like the out of focus background too. Excellent shader work.
