View Full Version : Houdini Forum
drunksniper 07-05-2005, 07:18 AM I think I dont just speak for myself when I ask that there should be a Houdini forum implimented under the 3D apps section.
Houdini is one of the most sophisticated and powerful 3D animation packages available and i am surprised that it is not under the 3D apps section.
I, and i'm sure many other people here, think a houdini discussion section in CG talk will benifit the progress of the community, and further establish CGtalk as one of most diverse community of CG discussion on the net.

Yep. It was right above Softimage forum. I was a little bit shocked, when I saw Lightwave forum on its place today. It was like WHAT?! I think it was here until yesterday?

I removed it last weekend. We've had it for years and yet it had less than 200 threads. So I pulled it.

Too bad, I just downloaded the free version today and was checking here to see if there was a Houdini forum

I'm surprised that they have such a tight-knit community =)

the best Houdini forums are:
od[force] (http://www.odforce.net)
Side Effects (http://www.sidefx.com)
the people who post at both sites are mostly either people working in the industry with Houdini or are the developers themselves.
