good luck man! looking forward to your entry.
I should have a first block pass up tomorrow for you to look at and give any advice on. This ones pretty difficult for me:)
And here it is. Just the first part. Feel free to comment on ANYTHING. I"d like to make this as good as I can and i'm having doubts about it so far, so all crits are appreciated...thanks:)

Hey Remi :)
Nice work so far, I like most of the poses you made and the actions he makes seem to work well tho I do have a few crits for you
The first action that he makes with his hand looks nice but he ends it not looking and standing in the direction of the hand which to me is kind of strange
The eyes are very focused, and for someone that just ran it dosent seem right
The pose on frame 80 dosent fit very well
Any ways, im hoping ill have time to do some poses at least for this one, Im doing the maya course of 3dbuzz and its taking up most of my time :)
Thanks Amir....I'm working the eyes right now and i'll try some different poses for frm 80. I'll work the pose in the beginning right before he starts his walk as well...see if I can get something that works a bit better. Thanks for the feedback. :)

Hey! cool! looks neat! are you gonna stick doc in there? or is it gonna be marty reacting?
I think I agree with AmirP. on that specific frame, 80, it could be stronger... maybe something like if he would scratch the back of his head or something?
I love the last pose! he looks great! I don't know if it would fit the scene :D but I love it!
Some more work done to this. I kinda like the pose at frame 80 myself...I did change it up a bit though...going to be adding some shoulder movement as well...I think the last pose is fun too, I hope it works...we'll soon see.:) I'm thinking I might use that head scratch idea when he says "are you telling me you built" though...I really like that idea...thanks. As for the doc....he's coming soon:)

Looking good there, I think your character could use a big chest breathe before he leans in to emphasize the agghh part. Also before he says time machine have your character throw out his arms first then have his upper body follow, or have his chest come first then his arms, right know he's thrown out both out at once.
Excuse all this if you planned to have this or not in your breakdowns, I know it's still a blocking phase.

Hey Jeff...sorry I missed ya...I just got my new machine setup and ready to go. I don't have everything installed yet so I can't upload to my server...but when I do I have some more to look at. Yea...everything right now is kind of falling on the same frame...i'm almost to the point where I start offsetting things...thanks for the input though..i'll have a look at some of the things you pointed out...Updates a comin':)
Ok..so got time to do some work on this...still needs alot more done...added doc...started to do some offsetting and reshaping some poses. As always...it's up for good crits and comments from anyone. Also...I noticed others are showing the thumbs they did...I didn't do to many thumbs..but I did do some vid ref...if you want to see i'll post it...it's wmv format though.
[Edit:]There's a bit of the end that's missing...i'm tired and going to bed...but i'll fix it tomorrow morning.

I like what you did with the doc, however his second last move where he rattles the screw driver seems out of place. If you put the last move where he dips down into the "some style" part when he pokes marty that would look cool. Just a suggestion though.
After playing it a few more times I'm not sure if this is your Compressor! Do you have Doc doing an action after the dialogue?
Some tweening issues with marty for "Time machine" but just an offset and it's still a blocking phase.

I do have doc doing some actions after the dialog but I can't seem to render out a complete movie in AE without getting a "not enough memory for audio data" error..but I can view it in RAM preview just fine with audio...I don't know what's going on. I've tried several things and it still gives me the error.
Ok..I made most of "marty"'s keys linear, just the torso legs and arms...not the fingers or face. I took your suggestion jeff and had doc poking during style...I like it better. Haven't touched docs keys yet...and I better get a move on...not much time left.:)
Any comments are appreciated. I'm in "feely" type of mood today:)

Good progress, Doc's character poses look very good, I really like the idea, But I have a problem with marty. My animation teaches told me once to animation the subtext not the context, And marty's animation looks like the context. It looks like he's animated by the sound and by whats happening and not by what the character is feeling or doing naturally.
Any ways, thats all for now, I didnt look very closly at the rest of it, Ill take a look when you move everything to spline
Hey Amir...I was thinking that very same thing...doesn't feel like he's thinking to me. This is a pretty difficult sound clip. It's too far along now though I think to make significant changes...but we'll see.:) Thanks for the great comments.:)
