this is a quick sketch i did in corel painter 8. ive been attempting to really capture the feeling of sorrow. but still have the characters appearance remain strong and dignified. sorta behind closed eyes. ive also been trying to experiment with hair...this is possibly one of my weakest points in sketching, i tend to block and fill..YAY, but i really want to get it to look as real as possible, but still in a 2d base. i want the look and feel that there is every and each strand of hair. the way hair moves and shapes to the wind is pehaps a bigger challenge than i should have attempted. but id love some feed back on a better way to get this image points up to scratch. Im really just focusing on the hair, and the look of the girl, not the fill and texture of her skin and so on.

i dont know why they wouldnt work, i musing the space cgtalk has givin me...and they uploaded right, they load for me...how odd...

they workie, nice work w/ the hair, but i'd surgest watching some asian films ie. Hero or more of a movie which has those type of scenes where the hair shows the emotion so you can assist in your character development
