Just a small project that I started. I have never done any serious modeling before. The reference is this alien made completely out of metal parts by an artist named PIYAPONG (JING).

My goal is to model him then animate him. My big problem will be animating him because his joints and limbs are molded (sodered I think you spell it that way).

I am about 85% done modeling him, no shaders or textures or lighting has been done yet.

Please let me know what you think and what you think I could change!

Thanks
Rick

I think it's pretty damn good. I've seen those things in the store before and they're really cool.

Maybe if you put the original and the cg in one image, side-by-side, it will be easier for people to compare. It's difficult to really see how well you did when you have to go back and forth between the two images.

Waple thanks for the feedback! Yeah I got this one for $27 clams!! They have a life size predator going for $3000 and a life size bubba fett going $8000! I will defiantly put the 2 together I think your right on being able to view them better!

Thanks
Rick
