View Full Version : Creating Character: Wrist distortion

I have just completed a character fully rigged in 3DSmax7.
When I try saving the character (Character / Create Character) one of the wrists-hands (mesh and rigging) flips 180 degrees. The Hand control remains in it's intended position.
The other wrist remains correct. Both wrists are rigged identically.

This happens as soon as I hit "Create Character"
Any suggestions as to what is going on and how I could prevent the wrist-hand flipping?

Try changing Euler XYZ rotation controller to TCB Rotation Controller and I think your problem is gone.

That solution does work.
I guess the trade off is a different workflow of animation?

I read elsewhere that using Merge is another work around.
