Hi everyone. I want to lower a cable hanging from a trolley on a crane. I have the cable rigged using IK so I can swing it around. Currently I have the cable root bone set up so I can scale it up and down to simulate the lowering of the cable. While it sorta does its job, I'm not entirely satisfied with it. Also, when I animate the crane, the cable bones, even when not keyframed, shake. I set up the bones at an angle so it would solve better, but I suspect it would be because the crane is way off from the origin. I was wondering if anyone has a better approach to this. Thanks.
