View Full Version : Animators Gym DVD for 3DS Max

Hey Guys, I just spoke (via email) with Paul Mikulecky over at lost pencil studios and he said that if enough people responded that he would make his DVD's available for 3DS. If you are interested email him at paul@lostpencil.com and tell him what version of Max you work with.

Whether or not enough people responded via e-mail to him right now, I am sure it would be well received.

There is a large community of 3ds max artists and the training material he is selling looks to be just what the community has been needing for quite some time - good quality instruction on animation that focuses on the principles of animation.

Hey Sam, yeah there can never be enough resources and I really hope the guys over at Lost Pencil decide to put this out for Max as well as Maya (for you mayans out there) and the fact that the tutorial DVD's are only like 20 bucks makes it even sweeter (the animators gym is a little more)
The problem here is that Lost pencil doesn't want to make them if noone expresses an interest in them.... its understandable, they don't want to loose money. So if you know anyone who is interested have them email the guy :)

Hi Guys... if I were to go for it, what version of Max would be best? I hear that Max 5 has a bunch of nice character animation features... Anyway, feel free to drop me a note if you are interested in Character Animation CD's for Max. Happy Animating!

yeah 5 would be good i think since that has a lot of new features

and yeah it would definately be well recieved within the community . . .

one can never have to many tutorials/training vids and stuff. . .

I have WalkC cd it's great but it wold be nice to have some video animation CD for max5 too. Like that toon CD that you plan.
