Hey, this is my first WIP on these forums :) I have started on a low poly character. The concept is a dark jedi mushroom type character. If this goes successfully, i also plan on making a light jedi mushroom (or maybe something else, like a carrot...) to match this guy. Here is my concept so far. I didnt know how i would do the legs to look good, so i just made him float :) Also, i couldnt think of a fitting name, so i chose Darth Fungus for now. What do you think? Critisism is greatly appreciated.

cool concept but you should do more to make him darth-like. If it were not for the lightsaber I would have had no idea it was sith.

Just an idea, but something like that Darth maul pattern and horns on the top of the mushroom, or a black cape.

hmmm... i agree. How would i attach the cape? Ill be sure to attach horns :)

alright. I changed a few things in the end. Added a cloak for a more jedi-like feel, and made his hands gloves. Here is the model so far. I think im finished unless somebody has any suggestions on improving the mesh. Thx:

Im hoping to animate him. Need the practice.

Was going to make a jedi apple or something and make them have a lightsaber duel... lol

Hahaha this is great. Although I usually don't like overly cartoony work, something about this is very endearing to me! Also I think doing an apple jedi is a wonderful idea. Mushroom vs. apple is hella funny.

finished up the lightsaber texture. The blade was tricky to make but i think i got it. Not completely satisfied but thats alright...

excellent work there hnbmilk! soft of reminds me of Earthworm Jim, which is walways a good thing!

might i suggest that instead of making the jedi an apple, you make him a broccoli though?

good suggestion :) i wasnt going to do an apple, just used it as an example... Broccoli sounds great :D
