CGTalk - Merging multi Z Depth passes ?

View Full Version : Merging multi Z Depth passes ?

Hi there,

I have rendered 2 layers out of Maya both containing Z Depth.

Is it possible to merge these 2 Z depth passes into 1 so I only have to apply Fog and DOF once ?

Any help would be greatly received.

Oh by the way I've only been using DF for a week so please be clear.

Which the format of the images?
It is enough to use the Merge operator, it will be used to join the two images, after that it uses the desired filter as the Depht Blur
