Hey everyone

originally when i purchased my LW 7.5 from newtek europe i used the following special offer..

The LightWave 3D[7.5] & DFX+ SPECIAL! , including Eye-on DFX+ and FREE download to LightWave 3D[8] when available

this cost me around 1200 Euros..

now i successfully downloaded and installed all the recent updates and am running 8.3 which i am very happy with..


so can i now sell my version 7.5 ?

i only have 1 dongle though which is running my version 8.3 so what gives ?

i emailed newtek europe twice already to ask this but no reply !

I doubt it, most offers like this tie you to the original software version, I would think it highly unlikely you could keep hold of 8 and sell 7.5.

You can't sell LW7.5 and keep 8: single dongle = single license.
If you sell 7.5 then you impliedly sell 8 too! ;)
