Hi,
I ran into this problem: I have an eye with a ramp texture projected onto it as pupil. The texturePlacement uses a set of constraints to find itīs location/orientation in space.
Now, when I motion render this setup in MR, the texture placement is offset and the pupil gets projected wrong. This happens only in a few frames (he pupil is animated), and ONLY in Mental Ray. Also, it does no longer happen when I disable Motion Blur. I would GUESS that this error sneaks in the moment MR offsets the current time to calculate the motion blur.
However, with a motion blur of the frames, this timeline offset is -0.6 and +0.6, and if I jump to that fraction of the frame, the texture looks ok.
I think MR isnīt moving my control objects correctly and thus the texturePlacement is miscalculated, but thatīs only my humble idea..
anyone else who experienced such a problem?
