View Full Version : photoshop alpha/transparency problems
Leo_gal 06-28-2005, 05:25 AM I have a file in photoshop and I don't want the background showing up. I got rid of it and made it transparent, but I want to know how to make it so when I bring the file into maya it stays transparent rather then turning white. I don't know photoshop all that well, but I know it's something to do with the alpha. If anyone nows step by step what I have to do to solve this problem that would be great.
Thanks,

wrong forum, but make the cutout for the background in the alpha channel under the rgb channels. or make a seperate black and white image as a transparency map.
