i want to make a script that would select every other edge on a cly any ideas , max listener wont read out my selection so i can create the script

Try looking at the code of Pola X [flamefx.com] as it has a set of fns to do exactly what you want.

uhm....flamefx.com is a really confusing website. Is v0.3 out or not? where do you click to download if thatīs the case? or if itīs not for free, where do you buy? truly confusing..
Light: you really should try to clean that up abit, make it abit more intuitive.

Edit: whoops, now I read that your new site is ready very soon and I assume v0.3 goes public along with the new site. :)

Well, developing websites is really not my thing. That's why I created a simple website. Besides I can't afford to spend more time on it. Hopefully the new website is does by a friend of mine which is almost finished.
