Hi,
Does anyone know how to have Maya rendering out panoramic image correctly? I have tested out both "Latlong lens mental ray lens" and "Cubemap lens" and "js-panoramic lens", both lens causes weird texture issue. Either missing textures or uv shifting depending the camera position and angle to the object in the scene. It seems they only works with non-image-based textures.
Here are the lens I tested-
http://www.vi-motion.de/latlong_Tutorial/ (http://www.vi-motion.de/latlong_Tutorial/)
http://www.sandstrom.on.to/ (http://www.sandstrom.on.to/)

If anyone have idea how to solve the texture issue while rendering the panoramic image, please let me know.

Thanks a lot!

Chen

Thanks a lot for the reply!

Actually I tested out the "js-panoramic "shader already and found the image-based texture is causing some kind of tiling issue, either texture been scaled unpredictable or uv shifted. Any thought for this? Hope I dind't miss anything there. Thanks again!

Well, I wasnt talking about JS_panoramic. I just tought IŽd mention the gg_spherical shader in the MR classes shader pack.

Thanks a lot Pixero (http://www.cgtalk.com/member.php?u=12000)! I find it. :)

Sorry at the first time I enter the MR shader page, I didn't notice I can scroll down the page so I missed it. Thanks for the help anyway. I will try it out right away.
Thanks again!
