View Full Version : Have you seen this maxscript?
somlor 10-21-2002, 03:58 PM I ran across it in a thread the other day and now I can't find it. You can add to your quad menu the ability to quickly switch between levels in your modifier stack, and also subobject levels.
hmmm.....

wierd thing is though, I am using it on an instanced half of a body mesh i'm working on. if i select the left side of the body, hit my hotkey to bring up the box, select "editable poly" beneath meshsmooth and the wierdest thing.. it actually flips me over to the editable mesh level of the *right* side of the body.
anyone else have this trouble?

The Quad based version of what you're looking for is in the Blurscript collection. You can find it on Neil Blevins' site http://www.neilblevins.com/blurscripts/blurscripts.htm . Once you have the whole collection installed look for StackDown and StackBottom, and assign them to your quad, they'll help you navigate through your stack.

well, i can only assume that it see's the original one as the basemesh . . .
so even if you're workin on the instance and want to go to the base, it switches to the originator . . . which kinda sounds logical to me . . . eventho it's not logical
did that make ANY SENCE :surprised
