When you make an Oil Tank primitive, for example, where the caps aren't connected to the main section, how do you glue these together so they're physically part of the same object? I can move the cap slightly and then bridge all the edges individually, but there must be a simpler method. (In LW, I'd just use the Merge command which would merge all points with the same coordinates...)

make it editable, select all points, and then use function>optimize to weld points within a set distance (as the end points of the caps will be adjacent to the height section once made editable, this will make the mesh continuous).

It would be handy if there were a checkbox for this. Something like "Connect caps when making editable"
Or, imo, even the opposite. Making Editable gives one mesh except when checking "disconnect caps when making editable".
