This is my (winning) contribution to Maxarea Rendermania Contest (http://www.maxarea.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=780&mode=&order=0&thold=0) - competition for best rendering of a pre-modeled scene.
3D modeling credit goes to REZI-st (member of Maxarea crew).

I just love the atmosphere on this picture.

u really gave me the feeling of a place after raining
it's so real especially light and shadows...

The picture is absolutely wonderful! But shouldn't the houses be wet after the rain? I think that would make the atmosphere even better!

Yes, I was thinking to make them more wet but when I observed some "after rain" situations, I noticed only few houses had really wet walls...So I chose to add small wet n' dirty textures under the windows and on the roofs...

I know your work from Maxarea, it was a challenge, isnīt it? It is very very very good, just amazing, really. I am happy that you are from Slovakia, we are neighbourhoods!
