I'd just like to introduce myself to the 3d forum. My names Fabian and im absolutely new to Maya. I guess I will be only stalking this forum seeing I havnt read the Maya manual yet and dont want to flood the forum with ''How does this work?'' threads :P

Hey, and welcome to the dark side! ;)

The best advice you'll ever get: Use 'F1' if you run into a problem before anything. Chances are that it will answer your question.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Sorry, but I am in the Dark Side already ;) :buttrock:

I figured as much when it comes to people getting annoyed at those that dont first consult ''F1'' :) hehe , I will make good use of it before consulting anyone here :)

...Hey, most beginners problems not found in the manaul have been answered a billion times in this forum already. Searching the place is helpful if F1 does not work for a change.

Hey thanks for the all the comments :) I feel very welcome! Lets hope I get down and dirty with this program asap so I can share my experiences with such a wonderful piece of software with all of you.
