CGTalk - plane cut in maya ?

yes plane cut in maya is this possible

im looking for a way to model a Low poly car, is it possible to cut the half without the cut tool ( i dont wanna go one edge at a time ) but actually a real plane cut ?

4.5 has a really nice tool for doing this.

right.

its called "cut faces". with this tool you can cut a whole character within two/three mouseclicks.

at the AW site is a little movie about this new feature.
