I saw this book at borders today , i flipped through and it looks pretty in depth and helpful.

yep, got this baby at home - really quite helpful, but not for a maya newcomer. some chapters could be a little more in-depth (espc. habibs "perfect storm" one - "then I told our r&d department to build a custom particle field for this problem, they did and then everything ran just fine" ) but extremely interesting nontheless.

I have this book. But it is more oriented to big studios or advanced features that almost all of us donīt use.
I lost my money on this book, I would rather buy a Gnomon video instead.
