Eyemaginations is a Baltimore based company that specializes in 3D medical animation in the eyecare industry. We have a 3D animation software package that we offer to doctors and corporations which educates and markets to patients. Our product is sold worldwide in over 80 countries with over 5,000 users. Our company has experienced great success over the past 7 years and we are expanding our product range to plastic surgery, cardiology, and orthopedics.
Eyemaginations is looking to expand our next generation software development team with a talented and experienced UI Designer. The UI Designer will be responsible for creating an exceptional online environment and organize our current interface which will be integrated into the software we create. This position is located in our Towson office.
Position: Contract UI Designer
This is NOT a full time position. 6 months to a year.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Utilizes traditional art skills, and knowledge of computer graphics software to produce user interface for software products.
•Participates with product development team to help visualize and develop software designs.
•Creates an interactive environment that is organized, timely, and maintainable.
Requirements:
•Working knowledge of Java, Photoshop CS and related software.
•Limited knowledge of Flash is a plus.
•Must show a strong ability in traditional art and creativity.
•Must have strong experience in Human Computer Interaction.
•Ability to produce art within limitations (i.e. frames, engine ability).
