View Full Version : Premiere lay out screen help
elmarko 06-23-2005, 06:06 PM Hi i would like to put two 320 x 240 clips on a 720x 576 background. I dont really have any experience on Premiere so could do with a hand!
Here is a rough pic of how i want the screen to look.

if you're premiere project is 720x576, and you drag a 320x240 clip to the timeline, i believe it defaults its position to the center.
If you highlight the clip in the timeline, and open your "effects controls" palette. you should see a "Motion" element. Expanding the motion element, gives you access to the clips position. You can now position it in x and y. Position one clip to the left, another clip to the right, and you're done. I don't have Premiere Pro installed on the machine i'm working on right now, but if you need screenshots of the process, send me a PM or something.
Good luck!
