Hi,
Two weeks ago, I »finally« got my wacom tablet. Untill this week I did not come to practice with it a lot, but finally I'm discovering the power of such tablet in combination with programs like Photoshop 7.

I started with a few ugly tests, but now I'm experimenting with emotions, I don't know exactly how to draw them, therefore is this thead.

Can you guys please help me, describe how to add emotions to a drawing..??

This is how far I brought it:

yeah I agree, look at a lot of comics (comics are good for you ;) ) try practice face expressions in a fast and simple cartoony style. That will teach you a lot.

For atmosphere (like what you did above) real life, well art-directed movies will teach you a lot about camera angles and especially the use of light (or no light). Tip: rent or buy a movie with good atmosphere, keep your eyes out for a nice lighted scene, press the pause button and try to find out where and what colors the lamps are.
Check out www.dusso.com aswell (been plugging that site a lot lately).
