This is a small thing, but it bugs me a bit. I have four shelves and when I open maya the visible shelf is not the one I use the most. I want maya to open on the shelf I use the most.

I have a modelling, texturing, renderware and level stuff shelf. All are in that order in the shelf editor and I want the modelling shelf to be the one that maya opens on. But maya always opens on the level stuff shelf.

Any suggestions????

cant u go into the shelf editor and move ur modeling one to the top?

The modelling shelf is at the top:

Modelling
texturing
renderware
level stuff

That's how the shelves are in the shelf editor. It should open on the modelling one, but it always opens on the last one(level stuff).

what about when u move modeling to the bottom?

got it....I deleted my userprefs and reopened maya. Have to remake a few settings but it works now.
