Hi guys,

Need some help here..

Does anyone know why when i hit " w " for the move tool, it does not auto activate the tool by default to recenter the maniuplator towards the selection?

When i hit the scale tool or rotate, it does it automatically to activate the tool without me having to click on screen.

If i go into the tool pipe and right click on the move tool and choose auto activate, it works but when i come back to the move tool later after using other tools... the auto activate is off again.

There must be some way to make auto activate a default for the move tool...

After selecting auto-activate from the tool pipe you have to save the new setting. Right click on the tool from the tool pipe and select 'save preset'. You can either give this a new name (i.e make a new tool!) or overwrite the existing 'xfrm.move' tool.

Or if your just looking to reset the tool back to the center of your selection hit Alt-A.
I do it all the time.

Edit.............. At leas it's alt- a in the Lighwave settings.
