Allo

Just wanted to test the capabilities of Live Trace with the new illustrator. I took a old concept of a Knight that I did a while back, something with some good Ink detail and traced it. Needless to say I was very impressed with the end result. Now I have no need for that silly Streamline :P. Let me know what you guys think

Cheers

P.S: I don't know why I only ever drew half of the image, I just felt like it at the time. Just in case you had the urge to ask...hey

What is Live Tracs? Is it only in Illustrator CS2? And I like the drawing very nice, now do the other half.

Live trace is new to Adobe CS2. It allows you to take bitmaps and vectorize them. If you have ever used Adobe Streamline then you would know what I am talking about. Where as before in Illustrator you would have to use the Auto Trace tool (which is garbage), Live Trace really provides an accurate representation of the original trough a vector conversion. Now granted I used just a detailed ink drawing as my subject, so I probably gave it an easy time. Gonna try pencil next and see what happens...
