Alright first I should say I'm not much of a modeler because I like animating more but I've decided to learn low poly because the playback really fast. What I'm wondering about is the topology. Does anyone see anything that might cause any rigging issues? The model might look alittle familar because I borrowed the image planes from a buddy of mine that has those gnomon game modeling dvds. Its to bad hes still using them so I can't watch them. :D

it looks like a very good start - can you also post a shaded, 3/4 wire also? it will help identify volume problems, especially in the torso. Some early crits though: head is WAY too small, shoulders are slightly too wide, armpits too high and far out, elbows slightly too high, legs a smidge too short. the geometry around his beltline is slightly confusing, not sure why its so irregular there. You have probably twice the polys you actually need where the legs join the hips. In general your body parts are too cylindrical; go ahead and tweak those verts, get a good organic shape going. The kneepads are pretty bad, I would rethink the best way to lay those out. As far as I can tell the head geometry is nearly perfect, it looks VERY good.

Thanks for the crits Adam. Heres a perspective view and also the front image plane to show you what exactly I was after. I'll work on your crits tomorrow morning but I'm not sure how long because this is really a experiment to see what I can come up with. :)
