I painted a little bit over the ear and jawline so they still need to be tweaked or fixed...but Im having fun

Here is some background work...and detail in the gun...The water falls were fun...It reallly makes a fun challenge to bite the bullet ...and discard references...the waterfall was a rememberence of an old bob ross technique...smiles... http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y130/dragonflysly79/merged3.jpg

Elegant style, dragonflysly.
IMHO the left elbow and the upper arm region has to be refined and the shoulder looks little too bulky.
Never the less, beautiful work, keep it comming.

Looks very good, one thing that is bothering me is that the belly looks flat it has no shadowing.

Agreed...you have tremendous amount of understanding with lighting...but not the shadowing part. I thinks it's not complete without that touchup first.
All of your ideas you shared are wonderful...but I prefered the one with the grapevines. :cry: It looked more interesting than your chosen scenery. I've seen that waterfall background all too many times....
