Can anyone tell me what the major differences between the educational version of Painter IX and the full version are?

Hi Podling,
I think that there actually isn't any difference in the programme or the way it runs. It's just that it is priced for Educational users. ie. students, colleges, tutors etc. The only thing is that that means it is only licenced for use for that purpose ie. training and learning the software, if you purchase the educational version you aren't supposed to use it for commercial projects.
Hope that helps!!:bounce:

mutlerboy (http://cgtalk.com/member.php?u=152980), is exactly right. There is no difference between the educational and commercial versions of basically any program other than the license agreement. Basically you can't sell anything you've made with an educational version. vbmenu_register("postmenu_2403378", true);
